Ok, if you have been keeping track with iopBlogs.com, you might have noticed that things have been slow for a while….guess again….
Well we have been working on updating all the aggregators to the new wordpress 2.0, not only that, we also have been accepting and adding submissions, and trying to promote different countries as well. So expect the new countries to be up, very very sooon.

The submissions are pouring in…..hooray! Although, i noticed something. Most of you out there are providing full text feeds. We are more than ok with that!! but i just want to point out that iopBlogs.com is there for the service of your blog. We would love it if in the near future the number of your visitors increases through link backs from iopBlogs.com.This would be tougher to accomplish if you submit the whole post, because our visitors would read the whole thing here, and have less of a reason to visit your blog. Notice for example one of our blogs, imonaplane, you will realize that there are only summaries for the posts (unless it was a teeny post). This helps in generating visits to the main blog to experience it with all its color and glory…….anyways it was just a thought, like i said we are more than ok with full posts.
If you would like to update your feeds to include only the summaries please do that and then contact
submit@iopblogs.com so we can make the changes. Incase you need to find out more about feeds here is a helpful link.

UAE is up and running!!! Bugs are down and dying!!!

So we have finally installed the first aggregator, we picked the UAE (United Arab Emirates) , as we currently reside there in the city of Dubai, beautiful place btw. We have started accepting submissions from all over the world and are in the process of adding the ones from the UAE ASAP. Expect to see new aggregators popping up by the end of the week, the priority of the aggregators goes to the number of submissions we receive for that country. So if your keen on seeing your country’s aggregator submit your blog and tell your friends to do the same.
As for the bugs……@#$%%^. J/k we have solved over 90% of them, and hopefully by the end of the day or the beginning of the next, all will be gone. As for the appearance issues, there are a couple of font size, type, color changes that will also be completed by tomorrow.
If you spot anything else, just whistle.

Theme Decision

After checking out tens of themes for the aggrs. we finally decided on one. I really like this one as it is easy to customize and looks neat and clean. It was designed by abelgraphics. The theme is called Impact, and we used the gray color theme to go with the whole iopblogs thingy. Anyways hope that its easy on your eyes…..
